Artemis Halı Meets 70% of Its Electricity Needs with Solar Energy

Generating 3.1 Million kWh of Clean Energy Annually

Artemis Halı, one of the leading carpet manufacturers embracing a sustainable production approach, has taken an environmentally friendly step by meeting a significant portion of its electricity needs through direct investment in solar energy. Thanks to the 40,000-square-meter production capacity solar power plant installed at its facilities in Gaziantep, the company has achieved an annual energy production of 3,129,689.30 kWh. This production enables Artemis Halı to source 70% of its total electricity needs from its solar power plant.

With environmental investments valued at 3.1 million TL globally, Artemis Halı achieves significant savings in monthly electricity costs while contributing to environmental sustainability and the conservation of natural resources.

Management Board Chairman Emphasizes Environment and Economy

Artemis Halı Management Board Chairman Tolga Batallı made the following statement on the matter:

“We don’t view our energy consumption merely as an expense item. Through our Solar Power Plant, we generate most of our electricity needs ourselves. Thanks to this investment, we provide an environmental contribution equivalent to what 62,600 trees would contribute annually to our country’s economy.
