Turkey’s largest gathering in solar energy and energy storage, SolarEX Istanbul, is preparing to open its doors for the 18th time in 2026, strengthening its strategic position in the sector with support from the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey. SolarEX Istanbul, Turkey’s first and only, and the world’s third-largest solar energy technologies and storage fair, has been elevated to “Prestigious Fair” status in the Ministry’s announced 2026 list of “Sectoral Qualified Domestic Fairs.” This development is considered an important step that will increase the export capacity of domestic manufacturers, while officially recognizing the fair’s contribution to global competitiveness.

Incentive Support for Domestic Manufacturers

Within the scope of support provided by the Ministry of Trade, SolarEX Istanbul participants will receive incentives of 8,670 TL per square meter, with an upper limit of 1,292,800 TL per company. This financial support aims to enable domestic manufacturers to participate on the same platform as international brands while increasing the visibility of Turkey’s solar energy ecosystem in the global market.
