Dodge Industrial Unveils StratoLink Disc Coupling Series

Dodge Industrial, Inc. has introduced StratoLink, its latest disc coupling line that significantly broadens the company’s coupling product range. Leading the rollout is the D71 Series, designed to API 610 specifications and built to deliver superior torque capacity, streamlined maintenance, and direct compatibility with current systems.
Notable features include:
• Torque capacity averaging 26 percent higher than comparable existing products
• Bore ranges approximately 11 percent larger than previous models, resulting in lighter-weight couplings that decrease mechanical loads and prolong equipment service life
• Innovative bushing engagement system (patent pending) that removes the need for hammering and other hazardous rebuild methods, cutting rebuild time by up to 50 percent compared to loose disc pack designs
• Center member assembly designed for direct replacement, enabling retrofits without repositioning or modifying connected machinery
“Engineers have long worked with a narrow selection when choosing disc couplings—StratoLink expands those options,” said Vance Chavis, global product manager for couplings at Dodge Industrial. “We’ve developed a compelling new solution that delivers greater torque, larger bores, faster maintenance, and backward compatibility. StratoLink demonstrates Dodge’s ongoing commitment to practical innovation that creates tangible value for customers in real-world applications.”
With more than 70 years of coupling innovation, Dodge has established global recognition for solutions that extend equipment life and reduce operational disruptions. The company’s coupling portfolio spans elastomeric to metallic designs, representing one of the industry’s most comprehensive offerings. StratoLink strengthens Dodge’s innovation leadership by enabling engineers to enhance system efficiency, minimize downtime, and boost productivity across sectors including oil and gas, mining, pulp and paper, and power generation.
