Sungrow Introduces PowerKeeper Energy Storage System for Commercial and Industrial Use

Clean energy solutions provider Sungrow introduced its new energy storage system PowerKeeper for commercial and industrial use at the Europe C&I ESS Summit held in Italy.
According to Wood Mackenzie data, Europe’s commercial and industrial energy storage capacity is expected to increase 13-fold by 2034, reaching 33 GW / 77 GWh. Rising electricity prices and the need for systems resilient to energy outages are driving businesses to seek alternative solutions.
PowerKeeper Series Features
PowerKeeper features a modular design of 12.5 kWh and can support 50-1000 kWh capacity over 2-8 hours with a single hybrid inverter. Capacity can be expanded through multiple inverter connections.
The system can switch to off-grid mode in 10 milliseconds and provides support for loads up to 250 kW with integrated ATS. The IP66-certified solution operates in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 50°C and is resistant to water flooding up to 50 centimeters.
PowerKeeper utilizes a five-dimensional warning system including current, voltage, cell temperature, and safety sensors. It offers protection at cell, pack, and station levels.
The system can adapt to different usage scenarios such as solar energy integration, electric vehicle charging, and backup power solutions. AI-based modes provide optimization based on real-time electricity prices and production forecasts.
Europe C&I ESS Summit
The summit held in Como, Italy, was attended by over 200 company executives, industry representatives, and business partners. The event addressed demand for energy solutions in Europe and regulatory frameworks in different countries.
Sungrow has over 1,000 commercial and industrial energy storage projects worldwide, with more than 200 in Europe.
