UNITED MACHINING SOLUTIONS achieved remarkable recognition at this year’s Machine Tool Innovation (MTI) Awards 2025, presented by CECIMO, the European Association of Machine Tool Industries. The company earned dual honors, with UNITED GRINDING winning “Best Overall Solution” for its comprehensive “Digital Manufacturing Ecosystem,” and CHARMILLES securing the “Green Impact Award” for sustainable precision manufacturing featuring 3D Shaping and LASER S 500 U technologies. The awards ceremony took place during EMO Hannover 2025, the premier global trade fair for machine tool and manufacturing technologies, underscoring the company’s emergence as a dynamic group with significant innovative capabilities.

Digital Manufacturing Ecosystem: A Landmark Achievement for UNITED GRINDING

UNITED GRINDING received the Best Overall Solution award for its sophisticated, fully integrated digital platform encompassing all product and service offerings. Over a decade ago, UNITED GRINDING initiated a comprehensive digital transformation by creating C.O.R.E., the digital infrastructure powering the company’s CNC machines, establishing a pathway toward future-ready production capabilities. At EMO 2025, UNITED GRINDING unveiled its completed digital ecosystem for the first time, connecting the entire manufacturer-independent customer network via the Transaction Network. This innovative system positions customers at the heart of an intelligent, interconnected manufacturing environment that seamlessly integrates machines, software, data, and services into a comprehensive digital framework. The platform empowers users with real-time capabilities to monitor, analyze, and enhance their production operations, ultimately reducing downtime while maximizing factory performance.
