Anker SOLIX Launches Parallel Configuration for X1 Home Energy Storage System
Anker SOLIX has unveiled a major enhancement to its X1 energy storage system for the UK market, introducing a single-phase parallel configuration. This innovative setup enables two single-phase units to operate together, effectively doubling the system’s power output, storage capacity, and solar input capability – making it an excellent choice for larger homes with substantial solar arrays and time-of-use electricity pricing.
Launched last year as Anker SOLIX’s debut in the residential energy storage sector, the X1 has distinguished itself through contemporary aesthetics, robust performance, certified safety features, and intuitive operation. Each X1 unit comprises a power module supporting up to six 5 kWh battery packs, delivering a maximum capacity of 30 kWh per unit. With 6 kW charge/discharge capability and 12 kW solar input capacity, a single X1 adequately serves typical household energy requirements.

Maximize daytime solar capture, minimize evening grid dependence
The parallel configuration expands the X1 from a single 30 kWh unit to a dual-unit system offering 60 kWh total storage. This substantial increase enables households to store far more daytime solar generation for evening consumption, powering appliances, heating systems, and electric vehicles with self-generated energy rather than drawing from the grid at premium rates.
Pairing two 6 kW units delivers 12 kW combined charge/discharge power and 24 kW total solar input. This configuration enables rapid battery charging during off-peak tariff periods or peak solar production, while simultaneously supporting high-power evening loads.
Rigorous standards, UK-optimized design
The single-phase configuration is purpose-built for UK electrical infrastructure and complies with all applicable standards, including G100 CLS, Octopus compatibility, and RRCR requirements. This makes the X1 particularly well-suited for UK households leveraging dynamic pricing structures and seeking to maximize solar self-consumption. Installation professionals benefit from straightforward scalability, streamlined setup via the Anker SOLIX Pro app, and centralized monitoring through the O&M portal.
Like all X1 variants, the parallel configuration delivers exceptional reliability, TÜV-certified safety, and residential-appropriate design. The modular architecture allows capacity adjustments to match evolving energy needs. The system features IP66 protection, operates reliably across -25°C to +55°C, and includes a ten-year warranty.
Whether for residential or small commercial applications, the parallel-configured Anker SOLIX X1 provides a versatile solution for increased storage capacity, accelerated charging, and greater grid independence. This advancement reinforces Anker SOLIX’s position as a leading provider of scalable energy storage solutions advancing the shift toward distributed, sustainable energy systems.
Seamless EV Charger V1 Integration
By late November 2025, the parallel single-phase X1 configuration will support integration with the Anker SOLIX V1 Smart EV Charger. This represents a significant advancement in integrated home energy management, allowing users to direct solar generation directly to vehicle charging. The benefits include improved efficiency, reduced charging costs, and a fully integrated renewable energy ecosystem.
Availability
The single-phase parallel configuration of the Anker SOLIX X1 becomes available in October 2025 through authorized dealers and installation partners throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.
