Porsche has brought the Cayenne Turbo Electric model to Fortnite
Porsche has brought its all-electric Cayenne Turbo Electric into Fortnite, extending the brand’s gaming strategy beyond traditional automotive marketing. The vehicle became available as an in-game purchase across PC, console, and mobile platforms, while Porsche simultaneously introduced a Fortnite-themed environment inside its online vehicle configurator — a first-of-its-kind collaboration between a car manufacturer and a gaming platform.
Developed in partnership with Epic Games, the campaign connects Porsche’s real-world customization experience with Fortnite’s virtual ecosystem through Unreal Engine technology, which powers both the game and Porsche’s updated configurator interface. Players can explore the Cayenne Turbo Electric inside Fortnite’s landscapes, with Porsche emphasizing the SUV’s off-road capability and high-performance electric drivetrain.
According to Porsche, the initiative reflects how gaming platforms are evolving into broader cultural and commercial spaces. Deniz Keskin, Director of Brand Management & Partnerships at Porsche AG, described Fortnite as more than a game, calling it “a cultural space where people discover, share and experience content together.”
The Fortnite integration also serves as a digital extension of Porsche’s broader electric vehicle push. The Cayenne Turbo Electric represents the flagship of the upcoming Cayenne EV range, delivering up to 1,156 PS and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. The model is positioned as one of Porsche’s highest-performance electric SUVs to date.
To activate the campaign, Porsche initially released a hidden access code for fans that unlocked the Fortnite visual environment within the configurator. The feature later became publicly available through the Cayenne Electric configurator page, allowing users to apply the gaming-inspired setting across the wider Cayenne Electric lineup.
The collaboration follows earlier Porsche appearances in Fortnite and Rocket League, including the 911 GT3 RS and 918 Spyder, signaling the company’s continued investment in gaming-based brand engagement and virtual automotive experiences.
