Heat pump: Working principle of the product of the future
The heat pump, which offers an environmentally friendly air conditioning solution and is shown as the product of the future; by offering heating, cooling and hot water use in a single device, provides high energy savings and efficiency compared to other heat sources. Heat pumps, which can provide the energy they transfer from not only air but also different environments such as soil and water, can be used in many different places such as homes and workplaces.
Heat can be produced from any source with high energy found in suitable conditions in nature. Devices that enable heat transfer from energy sources found in nature at high volumes and low temperatures to environments at higher temperatures are called heat pumps.
Heat pump selection is based on cost
Heat pumps, divided into three according to the energy sources used, work with air, water and soil components. Thanks to these components, heat is collected from the environment in the evaporator of the heat pump. Here, the coolant gains energy by evaporating at sub-zero temperatures. Then, the gaseous refrigerant liquid is compressed in the compressor, and the pressure and temperature are increased during this compression. In the next stage, the coolant circulates over the liquefier in a closed circuit and heats the heating system liquid. Thanks to the cooling process, the coolant turns into a liquid state again. As a result, the pressure and temperature of the coolant passing through the evaporator decreases, allowing it to cool heat from the environment again, and the heat pump starts to work.
Heat pumps, which have high application conditions and costs depending on their source types, are evaluated based on their conditions for each project and investment costs are calculated. Air source heat pumps are widely used in our country due to their lower cost. Water and ground source heat pumps are not preferred due to their high investment costs, restrictions in application areas and harsh conditions.
Air source heat pump can be used in all seasons
Air source heat pumps, which can provide one or more of the heating, cooling and hot water needs for homes, workplaces and all living spaces with high energy efficiency, are known as a product that has higher efficiency for low temperatures and can also provide solutions to high temperature needs with its developing technology. Air source heat pumps, which can consist of indoor and outdoor units or just a single module, can be compatible with mounting options in all areas where they are intended to be applied in homes.
Air source heat pump, which provides heat transfer between the outdoor and indoor environment thanks to the refrigerant it contains, can be installed wherever there is an electricity source, without the need for any fossil fuel. Air flow heat pumps, which have a reverse operating principle, can meet the heating need in the winter and the cooling need in the summer. Due to this feature, the device can be used in 4 seasons and also provides high energy savings. The product, which can meet heating, cooling and hot water needs, can also work integrated with solar energy or different systems. It also provides more comfortable ease of use with remote control and connection options to building automation systems.
