The Istanbul Finance Center (IFC), together with the Presidency Investment and Finance Office and Ibn Haldun University, has introduced a new digital initiative designed to enhance the institutional and knowledge infrastructure of Türkiye’s participation finance industry. Established under the name Türkiye Participation Finance Open Data and Knowledge Center (KFInfo), the platform aims to consolidate data, analytical resources, and academic research related to participation finance within a single digital ecosystem.
The platform will provide stakeholders with access to content generated by public institutions, private sector organizations, universities, civil society groups, and international organizations, creating a comprehensive and accessible knowledge base for the industry.
The signing ceremony for the KFInfo initiative was attended by Ahmet İhsan Erdem, General Manager of the Istanbul Finance Center; Ahmet Burak Dağlıoğlu, President of the Presidency Investment and Finance Office; and Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan, Rector of Ibn Haldun University.
Commenting on the partnership, Ahmet İhsan Erdem, General Manager of the Istanbul Finance Center, stated:
“A robust data and knowledge infrastructure is essential for the sustainable growth of the participation finance sector. KFInfo will bring together diverse stakeholders within a common knowledge ecosystem and support data-driven decision-making processes. We believe this initiative will increase the visibility of Türkiye’s expertise in participation finance while contributing to the sector’s development and strengthening its international competitiveness.”
Designed to expand access to reliable data and information resources, KFInfo is expected to become a leading reference center for Türkiye’s participation finance ecosystem. The platform aims to facilitate access to sector-specific data and analyses, support academic research, and contribute to policy development processes. It is also expected to enhance Türkiye’s knowledge production capacity in participation finance and strengthen its international profile in the field.
