Activities
Europe’s biggest wind energy gathering of the year is next week!

WindEurope’s Annual Event, “Electric City” takes place on 23-25 November in Copenhagen. It’s WindEurope’s first big physical conference and exhibition since 2019.
What has it got?
400 exhibitors, 8,000 participants
The whole wind energy value chain will be there. Plus companies involved in electrifying transport, heating and industry. The exhibition halls are sold out. Over 5,000 participants have already registered and we are currently getting over 400 new registrations a day.
Top speakers
10 Government Ministers from around Europe are coming, plus numerous other policymakers. There’ll be leading players from finance, technology, the wind industry and other parts of the energy system. Plus a leading Formula E driver!
Big issues
The EU want wind to be 50% of Europe’s electricity by 2050. And electricity to dominate the energy system. The event will focus on how to make that happen. What we need to do on grids, permitting, public engagement, the supply chain, etc. And how wind can help electrify those parts of the economy that run on fossil fuels.
Ideal venue
Copenhagen has been described as the world’s safest city. The Bella Center is a state-of-the-art place to meet after its recent renovation. The event will be COVID-safe with everyone vaccinated, immune or with a recent negative test.
